The Process Voice therapy begins with an accurate diagnosis and referral from an otolaryngologist. Ideally, the diagnostic process involves combined assessment by the otolaryngologist and speech-language pathologist. The otolaryngologist identifies the disease or disorder, and the speech-language pathologist evaluates the patient's overall vocal behaviour. Then, depending on the case, further appointments are scheduled with Dr. Hands, Aaron J. Low, Speech-Language Pathologist and Voice Rehabilitation Specialist.
